I've been really busy over the last couple of months, which is why I haven't posted an update since April. The chilli plants are coming along nicely and a few of them have already started setting fruit. Since posting the last update, one of the new varieties has been composted because it wasn't growing true to type and another one looks like it might be heading in the same direction. Although it could be interesting to grow them out and see what they turn out to be, I don't want to use up growing space and fertiliser for plants that I didn't intend on growing. Plus, it lets me space out the other plants to allow more light in. I'm not bothered because they'd most likely just turn out to be something that had "accidentally" crossed with a
superhot! 🤣
I've got some interesting mushrooms growing out from the drainage holes of the plant pots this year! After sampling a few on a sandwich the other day I sat and watched large dragonflies carrying pails of water and brightly coloured gnomes watering the plants. I don't know if it's just me, but the humidity feels very low this year. Even though we've had quite a lot of rain on-and-off it still feels very dry to me. Anyway, here are a few photos of the chilli plants.

Hopefully, by this time next month the chilli plants should be in full fruit production mode. All hail the Chilli Gods! 😁
