Goat's Weed

Species: Capsicum annuum | Origin: Venezuela | Pungency: Hot

Goat's Weed, also known as 'Black Dragon', 'Chile Negro de Arbol' and 'Black Cobra', is a tall growing Venezuelan heirloom variety with silver pubescens-like fur on the stems and leaves, giving it a somewhat frosted-looking appearance. The upright growing chillies start green and then turn black for several weeks before eventually turning red. Goat's Weed chillies are great for spicing up many types of food and can be used to great effect in Indian, Thai and Mexican cuisines.
